The FIRST fan review of songs from ‘Born This Way’

(My reaction to hearing Lady GaGa’s new single)

No words can honestly do the material I heard Justice. Lady GaGa has well and truly topped herself with this record and I didn’t think that was possible. I am a huge fan of The Fame and The Fame Monster but the new material catapults GaGa to another level. The music is so fresh and so liberating and it’s almost like a new genre of music. The lyrics are nothing short of genius, GaGa has spent two years working on this album and it really shows in the music. You can tell that GaGa has spent every minute that God has sent working on the new material; it truly reigns supreme over her previous work. The new music took me to places GaGa’s music has never took me to before, it’s really inspirational, empowering and liberating and it will set you free. I know a lot of you are peeved that the album doesn’t drop until 2011 but it’s honestly worth the wait. Lady GaGa is still tweaking and perfecting the album to make it the best gift possible for her Little Monsters.

Lady GaGa spoke about her love and devotion for her fans in great detail, crediting them as her biggest inspirations, to quote GaGa said “Lady GaGa = Little Monsters”. I could see in her eyes how proud she was when she played the new songs, GaGa was dancing around the room with the biggest and proudest smile on her face and it was beautiful to witness. The songs I have heard from Born This Way are all number one hits, they instantly become my favourites after only one play. I have never heard anything quite like them before, they are so original and they are a first for music in my opinion. Gaga’s attitude, dedication and devotion to the new material was so apparent, minus the fact she has the album title tattooed on her thigh I could tell how proud she is, she credits Born This Way as her greatest work and It’s clear to see why. 2011 is going to be GaGa’s year, it’s going to take her success to a whole new level and it’s going to prove to everyone who has been negative towards GaGa that she truly deserves the success she has achieved. I was permitted to write a fan review on the promise that I do not reveal too much so I’m going to end this review here. Like all of you I am more than excited to hear the finished product in 2011 … It’s going to be EPIC! You are all going to be so proud of Mother Monster.

you know, I have literally had NIGHTMARES thinking gaga’s new album might flop. That it will be considered “more of the same” and people might get bored of her. It terrifies me just to think about it.
I really hope the album is as good as you say it is. I only wish Gaga’s success. Can’t wait for it!

Ryan, I’m so glad that you got to hear Lady Gaga’s new music. You’ve worked really tirelessly on her behalf, in addition to being a SuperFan, and she recognizes that. Though I’m jealous enough to wish I got to hear it too, there’s something about waiting anxiously with 7 million other Little Monsters, knowing we are all going to be having the same mind-blowing experience on the same day when we buy our CDs, and then we will be screaming with joy and dancing around the room, too.

Thanks for all you do for Lady Gaga and her fans. And congratulations. I’ll bet you can hear that music in your sleep now. And just imagine how much even better it will be when she finishes all the final studio tweaks! EPIC may not be a big enough word for what she is about to give us.

I agree with Eric and Lee .. and I am NOT trying to be a downer but .. did you really listen to the music or were you just starstruck? I mean .. I really love some songs drunk and dislike them when I’m sober.

Omg maybe I’m just seeing that this is too good to be true. I’ve also had nightmares about Gaga hyping this album too much and people not liking it but if your review is from an emotional and logical level, then I am SO freaking excited. Congratulations, Ryan!

Omg it seems like lil monsters think alike, everyone whose heard gagas new album had nothing but praise for it. I couldnt help but cringe when I heard someone else was talking about it cause the hype behind this album is huge. This album is very important in gagas career, it cements her place in music and proves her talent isnt just a gimmick. Im glad to hear a fellow monster had so much positive things to say about it. Thank god! I have been so nervous that Born This Way would be overhyped and not live up to expectations, but if another monster says it’s her best work, then I think we have nothing to worry about. And I wish he would betray the sacred trust of Gaga and say some song titles… but if I was in his shoes, I probably wouldn’t either.

Are these people seriously doubting Gaga? I don’t get it. I have complete faith in her…she hasn’t let us down yet, and her career is just beginning. I’m in this journey with her for the long run.

This review is exactly how I hope to react upon hearing BORN THIS WAY. The Fame Monster set my soul free…and to think that BTW is probably going to do the same on an even grander scale truly excites me.

I can NOT wait any longer for this album and for the Born This Way era to officially begin. I’m dying for it. This is going to be the album that solidifies Gaga’s success and defines her as an artist. Elton, Nicola, Tranter, RedOne, and Gaga herself would NOT hype the album this much if they weren’t completely confident in its power.

OKAY I just really needed to get that out somewhere where I wouldn’t be judged for taking Lady Gaga too seriously. Litle Monsters unite! Peace love & art xx

I agree with practically everyone here. She’s been putting this record in such a position that people start fantasizing about it so strongly. I started to fear deception, because she’s been giving it a great name. Now that I read this, it brings my hopes up thinking it will be one of the the best records of all time. She’s a true artist, and true artists know how to innovate in their style without completely changing their trademark. And I think that is what she, RedOne, Fernando Garibay and the other co-producers did. I truly can’t wait, and really hope it’s worth the wait. You’re really blessed, Ryan, to having been able to listen to her new material. PAWS UP.

I think it’s great that she played the music for him, because Ryan is the same one who lost all of that weight and put up the videos where he met her and told her, right? That to me is what is so awesome. She took a superfan, and just totally rocked his world. I mean, when she does something like this for one of us, it’s like she is doing it for ALL of us! If only other superstars were so generous and appreciative of their fans!

I mean – who ever has shown this kind of sincere appreciation and devotion to their fans? Listen to the new album before it drops? WOW! )

With all the hype from Gaga and her producers and her friends, I was determined to stay patient and wait. Regardless of what any of them said, I would patiently stay calm. But seeing that photo of you officially pushed me over the top. I can not wait any more for BORN THIS WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m sure Gaga’s new album will be great. She’s talented and seems to be touched by God, or something, I don’t know, lol! She has some gift to produce music though. I liked the ‘Fame’ a lot, but when ‘Fame Monster’ came out, that put her on a deeper level for me. She is going to mature and develop naturally as a person and an artist, so I have great faith that Gaga is going to stand the test of time and become a great figure in music like Madonna, Elton etc. I don’t have to buy Madonna or Elton’s records to respect them as music icons. I DO love Gaga, however, and am looking forward to listening to Born This Way. I know it will be great and worth the wait. Love you, Gaga! x
