Lady GaGa’s manager says she overachieved on “Born This Way”

The Wall Street Journal reports that Coalition Media Group CEO and founder Troy Carter, who manages Lady Gaga, is understandably excited about her new album, Born This Way.

“She’s overachieved on this new album,” Carter said. “You never know what to expect in terms of where an artist is going to go after they’ve had as much success as she’s had.”

“It has a certain level of soulfulness to it,” Carter continued. “I’m looking forward to seeing the public’s reaction to it.”

Carter also said that sometime next week, Lady Gaga will announce details of a major television project she’s planning with a network.

My guess: 3D televised concert some time between the end of the Spring leg of tour and release of BTW. How about “Live from Mexico City” around May 5th? That’d be awesome!
