Lady GaGa set to perform in New Delhi, India

Lady GaGa will join musical legends Metallica in New Delhi, India for a concert entitled “F1 Rocks” at the closing of the new Formula 1 Grand Prix in the city. The concert will take place October 28th in the town of Gurgaon.

Arjun Rampal, a Bollywood actor and producer, spoke about nabbing Lady GaGa for the one time concert:

Lady Gaga was going to be in the region to promote her new album, so that’s something that fell into place. Also, she’s very passionate about India and wanted to explore the market here. It wasn’t easy getting her down, since she is the biggest superstar in the world. But I have to say her management was cooperative, and the guys from Desihits.com were also a huge help. Since there are going to be so many international celebrities coming down for the races, we knew we had to push the parties to the next level. So far, it’s been a delight to work with her.
