I was lucky enough to attend the FAME launch party in Harrod’s in London this past Sunday with Lady Gaga, read on for all the details!
The party was held in the world famous Ladurée store in Harrod’s, London. All of those who attended the party got to watch Lady Gaga make her entrance to the procession that went around the Harrod’s store, with a front row view as she left the Ladurée store and made her way into the golden carriage, accompianed by Tara, Frederic and Fozzi.
Afterward, we met her in the Ladurée store (in a different outfit) for some champagne and world famous macarons. We then had a chat with her. We all spoke to her about the tour, and she told us the hilarious story about her puking incident in Barcelona the night before! One of the fans in attendance asked did she get sick on Fozzi, and she said she did — and that she also showered Mark! She also mentioned that the moment was very rock ‘n’ roll.
After that, we spoke about the anti-fur protesters who were outside Harrod’s, and I told her about how one of them asked me to join their cause, and she replied “but you’re wearing leather!”. Gaga joked that she was upset that they hadn’t covered her in flour. She also said that she never wanted to insult or upset any of her fans when she wore fur, and that was never her intention. There were many other things that we chatted about, but they were the highlights (and some of it has become a bit of a blur, sorry!).
Everyone got a picture with Gaga, in groups of 6, and then Gaga made a quick exit to change before returning again in another stunning outfit, joined by her father Joe, Tara, Frederic and Fozzi. She then headed outside the store and made her exit out of Harrod’s.
Overall, it was an AMAZING night! Thank you so much to Lady Gaga, to the Haus and everyone at Harrod’s and Ladurée for hosting such a special night for all of us. We were all gifted with our own unique teacup, and a bar of the FAME soap. Not to forget the amazing macarons and specialty Ladurée sweets and champagne!
