Veronica was lucky enough to meet Lady GaGa backstage after the show (see picture below)
Veronica on meeting her idol:
GaGa is the most beautiful, kind hearted, soft spoken person you will ever meet. I could feel that she cared when she was talking to me after I shared my very personal story with her. I realized that she may be a small person on the outside but on the inside I know she has the biggest heart. I am truly blessed to have met her. ♥

Lady GaGa honoured at SLDN fundraiser event this past Saturday

Lady GaGa was honored at the Servicemembers Legal Defense Network’s (SLDN) 19th Annual National Dinner on Saturday in Washington, D.C. Lady GaGa received the group’s Randy Shilts Visibility Award for her work in calling for the repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” law at the SLDN-organized #4THE14K rally in September and also for several videos urging her fans to support legislative repeal of DADT.
SLDN, the largest group to lobby Congress to end “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,” the law that bans gay and bisexual troops from serving openly, recruited Lady GaGa to speak out in favor of repeal. SLDN Executive Director Aubrey Sarvis spoke of Lady GaGa’s support in a statement:
“Lady GaGa’s outspoken commitment to end ‘Don’t Ask’ discrimination renewed the call for repeal on the national stage and emboldened millions of young people to get engaged, take action and play a decisive role in repealing this bad law. We are profoundly grateful to Lady Gaga for her passion and tireless involvement.”
In December, President Barack Obama signed a repeal bill into law that will lead to the law’s eventual end, possibly as early as this summer.

Lady GaGa reveals her beauty secrets

Lady GaGa spoke to People Magazine about her beauty regime, discussing how she goes to bed with her make-up still on and always wears sunblock on her face. She also revealed that she is now a fan of a more natural look for herself; wearing only eyeliner to keep up with modern day looks.
Going to bed with make-up on is not good for your skin, but I’m blessed with good genes. I don’t like to tan my face because it’s bad for wrinkles. I think it’s more modern not to wear either mascara or fake eyelashes. I just wear eyeliner.
