According to Temptalia, MAC Cosmetics and Lady Gaga will be launching their second Viva Glam collection on February 17th in the U.S. and in March internationally. Lady GaGa has garnered countless fans around the world, thanks to her first two projects, The Fame, and The Fame Monster. The singer has numerous celebrity fans as well. According to a new report, singer John Lydon of the Sex Pistols is a fan of the singer. In a recent interview, the singer reveals that he is a fan of her music, and that he believes her lyrics are good. Lydon also discussed the music industry.

As aceshowbiz.com reports, Lydon said of GaGa in an interview with the Los Angeles Times;

I have done something good that Lady GaGa is so quite as mentally insane as she is.” Lydon continued: “There’s someone out there… (who is) ultimately just shock, but the lyrics are so good. They really are. And so every now and again, as corrupt as the music industry is, there is one in there that can manipulate it properly. She’s one. So applause to her

Lady Gaga is snowed in her apartment in New York City, but that didn’t stop her from picking up the phone to wish friend Ellen DeGeneres a happy birthday. The pop queen surprised the hostess during her show today, serenading her with “Happy Birthday” and fielding a few questions.

Gaga confirmed that she will perform her new single “Born This Way” at next month’s Grammys, wishes that her album would come out sooner. “Born This Way is coming out May 23. I wish it was coming out in March!” she exclaimed. “I really want to take the time to set it up properly and do all the TV [stuff], like ‘Ellen,’ for example.”

She also took the opportunity to shoot down rumors that she was getting married. “I’m not engaged, that’s so ridiculous!” she giggled.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Coalition Media Group CEO and founder Troy Carter, who manages Lady Gaga, is understandably excited about her new album, Born This Way.

“She’s overachieved on this new album,” Carter said. “You never know what to expect in terms of where an artist is going to go after they’ve had as much success as she’s had.”

“It has a certain level of soulfulness to it,” Carter continued. “I’m looking forward to seeing the public’s reaction to it.”

Carter also said that sometime next week, Lady Gaga will announce details of a major television project she’s planning with a network.

Lady Gaga has unveiled a countdown for the release of her new single ‘Born This Way’.
The track is the first song to be taken from the singer’s as-yet-untitled new album of the same name, due out in May.

The countdown is for the single’s February 13 release and Lady Gaga’s fans can RSVP to the event on Facebook. The group currently has more than 45,000 confirmed guests.

Lady Gaga will debut ‘Born This Way’ live at the Grammy Awards in LA on the day of the single’s release.

The album, which is the follow-up to ‘The Fame’ and the extended ‘The Fame Monster’, is due to be released on May 23. It was included in Gigwise’s Most Anticipated Albums Of 2011.
