Lady Gaga has inspired a British couple to name their daughter after her.A baby girl in Northumberland has been named Meggie Maisie Lady Gaga after the 24-year-old pop singer.

According to The Northern Echo newspaper, the little girl’s father chose to add the name to impress his four-year-old step-daughter, who is a big fan of the singer.

However, his partner Melanie Robinson, the baby’s mum, can’t believe he actually did it.She said: “I can’t believe he actually went ahead and did it. Ian thought it was a really good idea, but I told him no way.

“The registrar asked three times if there was anything he wanted to change about the name but he didn’t back down.”It’s still strange to look at the birth certificate now. Everybody keeps asking to have a look at it because they don’t believe he went and did it. But the more someone tells Ian he shouldn’t do it, the more he wants to.”

Lady Gaga fought back tears last night at the opening night of her US leg of The Monster Ball, after performing Just Dance Gaga couldn’t contain her emotions and cried tears of joy due to the overwhelming response from the crowd.

Lady Gaga posed for a Polaroid at the museum run by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The museum recently took possession of thousands of Polaroid inventions that revolutionized photography in the 20th century, including the 20-by-24-inch camera that snapped the photo of Lady Gaga wearing a low-cut black lace dress.

Lady Gaga paid a visit to Bukowski’s Tavern in Inman Square with friends Semi Precious Weapons last night for a ”hooker bbq and beer”. Gaga tweeted;

“She’s a phenomenal talent, and I think that talent transcends through all genres, all races, all religions, all countries,” T.I. told MTV News.

Tip also added that fans of all genres are united on the dance floor and that Gaga’s club-friendly hits are central to her appeal.

“I believe that that’s one thing that everybody can agree on. If you like a song and I like a song, then we going to both dance and all that here together,” Tip said. “I think that that’s what she’s the best example of.”

While Tip gushed about Gaga, he remained tight-lipped about whether the pop star would make an appearance on his upcoming album, King Uncaged. “I’m not gonna let no cats out of no bags,” T.I. said. “I think I probably told y’all too much already.”

Back in May, T.I. told MTV News that Gaga brought out a different side of him in the studio. “See, this is the thing: We gonna go back in and record some more songs,” T.I. said. “But the one we have right now is titled ‘Lick It.’ I think we both have a tendency to shock the world in a lot of different ways. I just tuned in to another side of T.I.”
