EXCLUSIVE: GaGaNews.com interview with DJ White Shadow

We here at Lady GaGa News were lucky and fortunate enough to be granted an interview with DJ White Shadow, who you might remember, is one of the amazing producers featured on Lady GaGa’s upcoming album “Born This Way”, having worked on tracks including “Government Hooker” and the Mugler remix of “Scheiße”.
DJ White Shadow was nice enough to answer a few questions about working on the album and working with Lady GaGa, along with his own work throughout his career. Many of the questions which were asked were inspired by the question you little monsters presented to us on Twitter, so thank you to all of you and a HUGE thank you to DJ White Shadow!

——————————-
Hi Darian, for those who don’t know you how would you describe yourself and what you do?
I am a NYC based lifestyle blogger, muse, socialite (albeit a broke BUT gorgeous one) and personality. I am also a makeup artist, but these days, for the most part, I only work with Semi Precious Weapons.
You have a blog which admires and appreciates blonde icons past and present, when did you first admire and appreciate blonde hair?
I have always loved glamorous, confident and powerful women but especially blondes. If you had to trace the blonde obsession I’m sure it must have started while playing with Barbie and She-Ra dolls as a child. Obviously one was a fashion model while the other was a super-powered, sword wielding princess but both were extremely confident, beautiful and made interesting fashion choices. Then I discovered Madonna at 10 and that sent the obsession to a whole other level, since she always exudes ultra-blonde glaMOUR and über-confidence and featured iconic look after iconic look.
What motivated you to start the blog?
I started the blog as a way to incorporate all the things I love; makeup, style, glaMOUR, interior decorating, art and baking. Having worked as a makeup artist for 11 years in everything from retail to film to fashion, I have amassed quite a solid knowledge of beauty advice and style references which I though should be shared with the world. I’ve been a blonde (off and on) since I was 15, so I also know a lot about upkeep and maintenance. Another one of my passions is that I love to bake, entertain and decorate, so thought it would be interesting to see if I could incorporate the two polar opposite worlds of fashion and homemaking into something cohesive. I chose the topic of “blonde” just so the blog had a very specific voice and point of view, and yet was a subject that would be very broad and have a certain level of longevity. I also wanted to do something that would counteract all the shit-talking and negativity found on celebrity gossip blogs. I don’t want to make fun of people. I only want to celebrate them. Love and glaMOUR makes the world go round.

RYAN INTERVIEWS EDWARD VIGILETTI
Today I caught up with the sweetheart that is Edward Vigiletti. One of Edwards inspirations is Lady Gaga, and when he entered a look a like competition to win tickets to see her live his picture was used around the world on many many sites such as Perez Hilton, who believed that the picture was a picture of Gaga.
Since this Lady Gaga has set his picture as her default background image on Twitter, Edward’s Gaga inspired pictures could easily be mistaken as the lady herself and I caught up with Edward earlier today to find out more about this experience amongst other things.

GAGANEWS INTERVIEW SIMON CURTIS
Today we caught up with Simon Curtis, an up and coming pop artist who is literally on the cusp of taking over the world. His album “8 Bit Heart” was put up for free download less than two weeks ago and it has received an amazing response from so many people, many of them little monsters. So many media outlets have given the album a lot of exposure and his album has literally become an overnight internet sensation with over 100,000 downloads.
We chatted about everything, from his music to his inspirations and he even answered some questions from you little monsters off Twitter! Simon revealed his biggest obstacles in getting to this point and he also told us about what has motivated to work so hard toward getting his music out there to all of you fans. At the age of 18, Simon moved to Los Angeles with literally his car and his belongings in order to live out his dream.
We found his story to be very inspirational and it has genuinely moved us. We were big fans who listened to his album on a daily basis, but after this interview we are even bigger fans than we were before.

For someone who has had no financial backing from a record label, the album matches and exceeds the quality of major artists today who have had the finance and the backing to produce material. It is only a matter of time before Simon gets signed and becomes an international superstar, he has the look, the talent and the charisma of a pop star.
We need you to help us out. In an hours time we are going to try and get #SimonCurtis trending on Twitter to raise awareness of this amazing musician. We would appreciate your help in doing this.
Thank you Simon for doing this interview, You were a pleasure to talk to and we really appreciate you giving us your time. All the best xoxo
