Lady GaGa presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden wins Emmy Award

Lady GaGa presents The Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden has won an Emmy Award for “Outstanding Picture Editing for a Special (Single or Multi-Camera)”. The HBO special, which was also nominated in four other categories, won the award earlier today after the winners were announced for many categories on the Emmys website.
“3 Way (The Golden Rule)”, a song by The Lonely Island, which Lady GaGa featured in during her appearance on Saturday Night Live earlier this year, also picked up an Emmy Award. The song won the Emmy for “Original Music Lyrics”.
The Emmy Awards will air September 18th on FOX.

Tony Bennett sat down with ABC News for an interview about his upcoming album, Duets II, which features an appearance by Lady GaGa. Discussing their collaboration with classic song, “The Lady Is A Tramp”, he told ABC News how he saw Lady GaGa as a performer.
She’s the best. I think [she will be as big as Elvis]. She’s so spontaneous and improvised. It’s interesting about her, that any person I’ve ever met in the entertainment world, she changes from day to day. [She is] a lady playing a tramp.

Lady GaGa to headline Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve

During his radio show earlier today, Ryan Seacrest announced that Lady GaGa is set to headline this year’s “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest”. The annual show, which airs live from New York City, takes place on December 31st to ring in the New Year. Around one million people will be in attendance at the show, and will get to watch Lady GaGa perform live in Times Square, with millions more watching in the US and worldwide.
